Program Notes:
 
I am currently fascinated by the idea of creating a line in music that can be followed from start to finish. This line could be any combination of musical parameters (pitch, timbre, texture, rhythm, etc.), but I love exploring how a single idea can be transformed when it is surrounded by various external materials. “Warp and Weft” allows the performers to interact as partners to weave the horizontal and vertical soundscapes together.
